The Oldest Dragon is a supporting character in the Double Dragon animated series. He was the original "Dragon Master" of the Dragon Dojo, who raised Billy Lee as his own son and taught him everything he knows and to live under the honorable path of the "Code of the Dragon".
He was voiced by French Tickner.
History[]
The Oldest Dragon was the original "Dragon Master" of the Dragon Dojo, where time ago he trained John Lee and the Shadow Master. When the latter went rogue and tried to eliminate John and all of his family, the fleeing John barely managed to make his way to the dojo and there he left one of his two sons, named Billy, at the care of the Oldest Dragon.
From that day onward and up to the end of his life, the Oldest Dragon raised Billy as if he was his own son. He imparted him all of his wisdom and taught him everything he knew about martial arts. He also taught him to always lead his life under the honorable path of the "Code of the Dragon".
A long time later, when he was already at a very advanced age, the Oldest Dragon presented Billy with the legendary Dragon Sword, and then he passed away. He reappeared in following episodes in spiritual form to assist the Double Dragons.
On the second season, it is revealed that a long time ago he confronted Shadow Khan, an evil sorcerer leader of a legion known as the "Terror Warriors". By using the legendary Dragon Claws, he managed to subdue the foe and imprisoned him inside a shield, fixing the claws over the artifact to prevent him from escaping.
The Oldest Dragon also appears in Double Dragon V: The Shadow Falls as a non-playable character. He guides the Lee brothers throughout their missions in "Quest Mode".
